The ambitious cross-campus collaboration headed up by Clive Crook, founding Art Director for ELLE magazine UK, saw two large groups of students create two rival zines in two days with steep print deadlines.
80 first and second year BA(Hons) Fashion Photography students were split into two groups and worked with students from BA(Hons) Illustration and MA(Hons) Illustration in a race against the clock. Fashion images created in the weeks leading up to the project showcased the unique designs of BA(Hons) Fashion Design and Performance Sportswear Design students.
The zines responded to a ‘One University Two Great Campuses’ brief to reflect the very different but equally compelling Falmouth and Penryn Campuses of Falmouth University, which sit three miles apart.
Clive Crook worked directly with the students from start to finish to produce each zine following a number of publishing master-classes on Skype weeks before the project began.
